Tsavo East National Park Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Day 1 — Tsavo East National Park

6:30 AM – Departure from your hotel or private villa in Watamu, with a stop along the way for a light breakfast at a local restaurant. 7:00 AM – Departure for Tsavo East National Park (approx. 2 hours 30 minutes, 120 km), with a short break and optional visit to a local school to donate supplies. 9:30 AM – Arrival at the park entrance; short break and visit to the Galana River to observe crocodiles. 10:00 AM – Morning game drive aboard a 4x4 safari jeep, with complimentary bottled water, searching for the Big Five and many other species. 1:00 PM – Arrival at the lodge or tented camp, check-in and buffet lunch (drinks not included). 2:00–4:00 PM – Free time to relax. 4:00 PM – Afternoon game drive until sunset. 7:00 PM – Return to the lodge. 8:00 PM – Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 — Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

5:00 AM – Wake-up call. 6:00 AM – Breakfast at the lodge, check-out and a final morning game drive in Tsavo East. 9:00 AM – Departure for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, a beautiful private wildlife reserve. 1:00 PM – Arrival at the Taita Hills lodge, renowned for its iconic stilted rooms overlooking the sanctuary; check-in and lunch. 2:00–3:30 PM – Free time to relax. 3:30 PM – Afternoon game drive exploring this unique reserve until sunset. 6:00 PM – Return to the lodge. 8:00 PM – Dinner and overnight stay.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Day 3 — Final Safari & Return to Watamu

5:00 AM – Wake-up call. 6:00 AM – Breakfast, check-out and final morning game drive in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. 9:00 AM – Departure for the return journey to Watamu. 1:00 PM – Stop at a local restaurant for lunch. 3:00 PM – Arrival in Watamu and transfer back to your hotel or private villa.
