About This Experience

Departure from Watamu at 8:30 AM. We arrive at Gede, where you visit the ruins of the ancient Arab city, accompanied by its "inhabitants" — the playful colobus monkeys. The visit lasts about 40 minutes and is guided by an authorised local guide. Afterwards, we continue to Malindi for a city tour and a stop at the wood carving factory, where most local wooden crafts are made. We then proceed towards Robinson Island, stopping briefly at Golden Sand beach, a special place where the sand has a golden colour. The island is reached by a traditional Kenyan wooden canoe. Afterwards, we depart for the final stop: Marafa Hell's Kitchen (the Devil's Kitchen), where you explore the dramatic canyon with a guide who explains its unique geological features, reaching the top in time for a spectacular sunset.
